These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of joovi.net, the Joovi apps, and related services (together, the "Services") provided by Aetlas Group LLC, doing business as Joovi Systems ("Joovi", "we", "us"). By creating an account, registering for an event, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who uses Joovi
Joovi is a platform that lets Organizers create, promote, and run in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, and lets Attendees discover, register for, and join those events. Joovi provides the technology; Organizers are solely responsible for their events.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to create an account.
- You agree to give accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and must tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.
3. Organizer responsibilities
- Organizers must provide accurate event details, including date, time, location, format, price, and refund policy.
- Organizers are responsible for delivering their events, complying with applicable laws (including consumer, tax, accessibility, venue, and privacy laws), and honoring the commitments they make to Attendees.
- Organizers who receive Attendee information act as independent controllers of that data and must use it only in line with their own privacy notice and applicable law.
- Organizers must have all rights needed for any content, livestreams, recordings, music, or trademarks they publish on Joovi.
4. Attendee terms
- Registering for an event creates a relationship between you and the Organizer. The Organizer sets the event rules, ticket terms, and refund policy.
- Events may be changed, postponed, or cancelled by the Organizer. Joovi is not responsible for the Organizer's decisions.
- You agree to follow event codes of conduct and not record or redistribute livestreams unless the Organizer allows it.
5. Subscriptions, fees, and payments
- Joovi offers a Free plan and paid subscription plans. Plan features, prices, and any platform fee on paid tickets are shown on our Pricing page and may change with notice.
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable. Promo codes are subject to their stated terms and may be withdrawn at any time.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, whose terms also apply.
6. Ticket refunds
Ticket refunds are governed by the Organizer's refund policy. Where an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, Organizers are expected to issue refunds. Joovi may assist but is not obligated to issue refunds on an Organizer's behalf.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the Services to: publish unlawful, fraudulent, hateful, or infringing content; sell counterfeit or unauthorized tickets; send spam; collect data about others without consent; interfere with the Services' security or performance; or attempt to access accounts or data you are not authorized to access.
8. Content and licenses
You keep ownership of the content you post. You grant Joovi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate and promote the Services and your events. Joovi's software, brand, and design remain our property.
9. Livestreams and third-party services
Some features connect to third-party services such as YouTube or Google sign-in. Your use of those services is governed by their terms. Joovi is not responsible for the availability or content of third-party services.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove content or accounts that violate these Terms or put Attendees, Organizers, or Joovi at risk. You may close your account at any time.
11. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, Joovi disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Joovi does not guarantee any event's quality, safety, or occurrence.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Joovi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Joovi in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100.
13. Indemnity
Organizers agree to defend and indemnify Joovi against claims arising from their events, content, or violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, unless mandatory consumer law where you live provides otherwise.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will notify you in advance by email or in the Services. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
